two phones stacked · third device monitor · coincidence detection · runs locally
real particle detectors use coincidence — two sensors that must both trigger simultaneously. random noise does not trigger two sensors at once. a muon does. this tool does what every serious particle detector does. it just uses two phones and a browser.
phone a generates a room code, phone b joins, an optional monitor (laptop or tablet) attaches as a read-only display. all calibration and detection runs peer-to-peer over webrtc. nothing is uploaded.
the b-code and m-code are different — phone a generates one for each. the easiest route: phone a uses the “copy link” buttons to send each invite link directly to the right device.
