forensics quality dashboard
this page is a public account of where fatcousin forensics is complete vs where it is still aspirational. counts come from the on-disk catalog and committed goldens — computed at page render, not hand-maintained. tier-1 case types have proof pages and methodology guides; tier-2 case types may not. vendor-fidelity audits track how many forensic parsers were reviewed against a public vendor schema (100% against the current forensics tool catalog). if a row says "no goldens," the tools may still run — we have not published a reference fixture you can replay yet. don't trust us: check /forensics/proof, run npm run check:flagship, read /forensics/scope for what we are not.
headline counters
- 52case types
- 51methodology guides
- 11quick-start guides
- 43compare pairs
- 3,995 / ~4,004vendor-fidelity audits
launch-tier breakdown
tier 1 surfaces on /forensics by default. tier 2 sits behind the expander. tier 3 is reserved — no case types use it in the catalog today.
| launch tier | count | meaning |
|---|---|---|
| tier 1 | 8 | launch-ready · default tiles · proof + methodology expected |
| tier 2 | 44 | expanded catalog · may lack proof or fixture yet |
| tier 3 | 0 | not assigned in catalog |
methodology coverage matrix
one row per case type. methodology guide · synthetic fixture · MANIFEST.sha256 · published goldens. goldens column uses proof-route mapping — a published proof page implies committed goldens under app/tools/__fixtures__/cases/.
vendor-fidelity audit progress
3,995 / ~4,004 forensic tools · parser output reviewed against documented export schema · not a measure of legal admissibility. every audit is a hand-written assessment of how faithfully a tool matches its vendor's documented schema. percent complete is computed against an estimated ceiling, not a fixed denominator. see /forensics/rubric for grading methodology.
